Natalya was born in Kiev, Ukraine and grew up in Randallstown. She left at age 17 to attend University of Iowa, and since then has lived in Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA and back to Baltimore twice before moving back for good to the Waverly neighborhood in January 2009. Natalya has been a community organizer, festival producer, theatre producer, director and theatre educator, senior community center programs director, as well as cafe manager and caterer, and is now also currently a real estate agent.

Throughout her life, T. C. has always strived to have a positive impact on peoples’ lives by furnishing the support needed to improve their health, both physically and socially. She worked with The Food Program and The Sickle Cell Anemia Clinic, and became a founding member and clinical administrator of the Washington D. C.-based Regional Addiction Prevention (RAP), Inc. Following that, T.C. devoted over twenty-five years to Baltimore’s Mayor Office of Employment and Development. T.C. developed, implemented and initiated PACE (People Accessing Continuing Employment), which is still operating, today. She was Voted Best Practice in 1997 by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Currently, T. C. is providing her talents to Zion Health, a Baltimore-based facility, training people in various health duties and fields, as a generalist, instructor, and chief consultant.

Mona Addison

Mona Addison was born and raised in Baltimore City, and has lived in Waverly since 1980. Retired from Domino Sugars , Mona has worked as an assistant to a city council member, and now works for the Baltimore City Schools. Currently Vice President of the Board of the Waverly Improvement Association, she has served on the Board for over 15 years. Mona attends Faith Baptist Church, serves as chair of the Family Life Ministry, a member of a nurse unit and is a missionary. A mother of three, grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 2, she enjoys traveling and gardening. As Vice President of WIA, her goal is to bring better city services to our area and recognize neighbors who strive to keep our community clean and safe.

Kun Sun is a life-long resident of Waverly, serving for his first time on a board of directors for a non-profit organization. He decided to join the Board to help improve the community. During his free time, he volunteers at various pop-culture conventions, uses Facebook to chat friends, and plays video games. Kun Sun appreciates being selected to serve on the WIA Board of DIrectors.

Ross Hackett was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He moved here after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh and has been in Baltimore for three years. He is a new resident of Waverly, having just moved to the neighborhood in April 2016. Ross works for a nonprofit city marketing agency and believes in the enduring importance of neighborhoods with involved residents. Ross’ favorite thing about Waverly is the friendly and welcoming nature of his neighbors.

Nat Meysenburg first moved to Waverly with his family as a teenager (and City College student) in the late 90s. After spending several years living out of state, Nat decided to move back to Waverly. By day, Nat is a Technologist with the Open Technology Institute, part of a DC based think tank that works to ensure that every community has equitable access to communications technologies that are both open and secure. Nat wants to see a Waverly that continues its long tradition of being one of the most economically and racially diverse neighborhoods in Baltimore.

Leigh Kramer grew up in Bel Air, MD and graduated from Towson University. She has lived in Guilford since 2003. A career marketing professional, she is the owner of several small businesses. Helicopter Marketing is a marketing consulting firm, Spiritual Ceremonies is co-owned with her husband Rev. Jesús Rivera, and Mondo Deco is a new retail store in Waverly. An advisory board member, Leigh is committed to supporting the Waverly Improvement Association in its mission to improve the quality of life in the Waverly community.
